Sober Support

Our sober support is bespoke to our clients’ needs and commitments

Who Do We Serve?

Our services are designed to help executives and professionals working
in high-pressure environments, get sober and stay sober.

Sober Coaching

Sober Coaching is for the individual committed to actively participating in their own sober journey. As a coach, our role is to empower the client to cope with the various triggers and obstacles they will encounter in their daily lives.

A Sober Coaching schedule is reached together and is completely bespoke to your organisation and the individual needs of your employees. Typical engagements involve a once-a-week meeting, with texts, calls and e-mails in between. We can meet you at our Harley Street office, your home, or a mutually convenient location. Our clients usually find that one or two sessions 60 to 90 minutes per week, coupled with daily email or phone support, is the ideal amount. We recommend using our service from three to twelve months to reinforce daily routines.

If you have been in rehab, we can liaise with your case manager and family to ensure our Sober Coaching service compliments your plan, or if you need to undergo a detox then we can arrange for a home detox team or residential detox – whichever is most convenient for you.

Sober Companionship

A Sober Companion is someone who acts as a guide to help maintain an individual’s sobriety, whatever the situation, for a set period of time.

A Sober Companion can accompany you at home, work, or a social event. Whatever is needed, we will meet you wherever you are.

The idea is simple: in treatment, sobriety is assured, as it is a secure and drug-free environment. Once back in the real world, familiar places and faces, old habits and schedules; day-to-day life can be littered with relapse triggers. A Sober Companion acts as a shield, providing that extra layer of protection to help prevent relapse.

Intervention

Intervention is a deliberate process designed to help another person — a family member, loved one, friend or colleague — recognise and change self-destructive thoughts, feelings or behaviours. The intent is to confront the person in a non-threatening and compassionate manner. It’s an approach that focuses on helping the individual see the personal impact of their alcohol or other drug use, as well as the impact on others.

As professional interventionists, we organise the intervention, taking into consideration the environment, those present and the most appropriate approach. The Sober Advantage facilitate the process thus helping to ensure that dialogue remains focused and productive in a situation where emotions can run high.

Sober Transportation

For clients about to go into rehab, it can be a potential minefield for relapse making the journey from home to the treatment centre. Sober Advantage can safely transport a client nationally or international from home to their destination thus ensuring the client won’t relapse along the way. Safeguarding the client at all costs is paramount.

Sober Wellness Kickstart

Sometimes a well-planned wellbeing strategy can be a super effective way of achieving wellness quite quickly. This is especially beneficial for individuals whose lives have become chaotic and unmanageable.

For those who recognise early that they are stressed and headed for burnout and committed to turning their lives around, our kickstart strategy session and subsequent implementation would be ideal.

This 3-hour session can be in person or over Skype.

Treatment Advisory Service

We have extensive knowledge of reputable rehabs nationally and internationally that achieve outstanding outcomes/results, like our clients, each rehab is different and can cater for the individual’s needs, creating a truly personable experience.

Home Detox

An alcohol home detox is a controlled detoxification managed by a team of specialised addiction Doctors and Nurses at the client’s home. It’s gradually removing the individual from alcohol dependence. Sudden withdrawal from Alcohol can cause seizures. Therefore the correct medications and round the clock monitoring is vital for a successful detox.
